Water Resistant, or just all wet?
With my introduction to this review, you can imagine what I would go after first, right? Yes, I wanted to see if this watch was really made to withstand getting wet without being ruined. I was very impressed to find out that the Seiko Men's SKX781 "Orange Monster" Automatic Dive Watch is a true diver's watch. It's rated to be water resistant up to 660 feet, so most of us could never get this watch submerged deep enough to do any damage to it at all. I even read some customer reviews from people who have taken this watch down pretty deep, and they all said that their watches are still ticking. That's proof enough to me that this watch actually delivers on being truly water resistant.
But it's Orange...
With a name like “The Orange Monster” I knew I was in for a bit of a visual treat with this watch. Yes, the Seiko Men's SKX781 "Orange Monster" Automatic Dive Watch has a very bright, very noticeable orange clock face. It takes a minute to get used to the appearance of this watch, but once you do it grows on you. And if you do happen to take this watch into dark, or possibly watery surroundings, you can be sure that you'll always be able to tell what time it is.

Seiko Orange Monster,
I'm addicted to buying watches. There. I said it. In my opinion, there's not a whole lot of things more lame than pulling out my cell phone to check the time, no matter what the circumstance may be. So when the 'bug' caught me again last month, I found myself browsing through diver watches and not being all that impressed with many of the selections. But I already have a dress watch, and a couple of military style watches, and I wanted to add a divers to my collection. Preferably an automatic, something below $500. When I came across the famed Seiko Orange Monster, I was immediately taken by it's sheer beauty. When I finally decided to order it, I was a little unsure if the orange dial was really my style, but after talking with the horologists on the Amazon board, I was convinced. When the watch arrived, I couldn't have been happier.

If you enjoy diving then you will need to ensure that you have all of the correct apparel and equipment. This will not only guarantee that you are safe but also that you look good as well there are many different items that you will need. Diving is an amazing experience and you will want to stay down there as long as possible. You should look to see if your favorite designers is making one and then you can find out what the features and capabilities are. If you find a dive watch which suits your needs and looks great then you can wear it all of the time. There are no rules as to when you must take your dive watch off and if it looks and feels good then why bother.
